Steakehouse AD
For this project, I created an advertisement for a steakhouse using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I started by designing the layout and typography in Illustrator, focusing on bold, eye-catching visuals. Then, I used Photoshop to enhance the imagery and add texture, giving the ad a rich, appetizing feel. This project helped me combine design and photo editing skills to create a professional and engaging final piece.
I chose Lana Del Rey as my role model because her music deeply resonates with me. The way she expresses her emotions in her songs feels raw and personal, and I relate to the themes of love, longing, and self-reflection she explores. Her ability to turn vulnerability into art makes her meaningful to me.
One quote that stands out is: “You dont want to be forgotten, you just want to disappear.” This resonates with me because I fear being forgotten, yet I also sometimes wish I could disappear. It captures the tension between wanting recognition and wanting to fade away, a feeling I often struggle with.
For the magazine cover, I chose soft colors like light purple and white to reflect the calm, dreamlike quality of Lana’s music. The minimal layout keeps the focus on the quote, allowing its meaning to speak for itself.
I hope viewers notice the emotional depth behind the quote and the design choices. I want them to feel the inner conflict expressed in the quote and connect with the vulnerability that Lana Del Rey’s music brings.

My movie poster captures the essence of adventure by blending a car with a vast sky, symbolizing exploration and freedom. Using Adobe Photoshop, I seamlessly merged these elements, while Canva helped in creating a cohesive logo.
I enjoyed selecting the font and text placement, which enhanced the overall design. I’m particularly proud of the car-sky interaction, though I faced challenges adjusting the stars for depth. With more time, I would refine this aspect to elevate the composition further. This poster invites viewers to embark on their own journeys.

In this piece, I combined an image of my cat with a moonlit background to evoke a whimsical Halloween spirit. Inspired by the magic of the season, I used Adobe Photoshop to blend a photo of my cat mid-jump with a luminous moon and soft clouds. I added a tiny witch hat to enhance the Halloween vibe and adjusted the lighting for a serene nighttime effect.
The final result captures a playful yet otherworldly atmosphere. Through this process, I learned valuable skills in background editing and object masking, allowing me to create a cohesive and imaginative artwork.
